CORO GOLD

The Stanley family owned their (camp) site for years but grew to need a more permanent holiday home. Inspired by the classic New Zealand bach aesthetic, this project perfectly blends relaxation and immersion in a lifestyle. CORO GOLD is the perfect example of how modern prefabrication techniques can be used to create a beautiful and functional home that is both fast and efficient to build.

The family approached ata, wanting to self- build a bach that could easily accommodate guests and future grandchildren. Since they worked in construction, using Stanley Construction to prefabricate elements made sense. The house was constructed off-site using prefabricated floor cassettes, fully sheathed 140mm insulated wall panels, and an insulated roof panel system.

The project was planned meticulously with negligible waste, and the house was watertight just 12 working days after permits were granted. Overall construction was completed three months after permits were issued. The design, construction speed, and functionality will inspire those who want to create a relaxing and immersive living experience away from home.

We were lucky enough to partner with ATA on our CORO GOLD project in Pauanui. It was a great collaboration with the ATA team and what we have as an end product is exceptional. ATAs design was outstanding. We were blown away with how functional the house is. We would highly recommend ATA as your design partner.
