Shug Life won a Gold Award and was the Regional Category Winner for a Renovation $500,000 – $1 Million. The House of the Year judges said “The removal by hand of the majority of the first floor gave flexibility for the creation of the new layout focusing on essential kitchen and a clever indoor-outdoor balcony. Rainscreens, hidden details, cladding junctions, and curved corners clad in vertical cedar over a cavity system have all been carefully thought out and constructed.” Massive congratulations to 90 Degrees Construction for this work of art.
Eleanor also won a Gold Award for a New Build $1 Million – $1.5 Million. The judges said “In a coastal town swelling with new builds, this home stands out for its timeless sophistication.” Well done to Framed Builders and all other contractors involved.
Both homes were designed by ata (formerly known as Adam Taylor Architecture).
