What began as a modest bach was transformed into a light-filled home that balances rhythm, calm, and everyday beauty. The judging panel described the project as “an experience of light, rhythm, and calm. Every gesture, from the carefully composed windows to the subtle transitions in scale, serves to enhance the spatial flow and elevate the everyday. Displaying a highly crafted and stylistically coherent interior that reinterprets 1970s design language with freshness and vitality, this project cleverly balances nostalgia with modern livability, drawing on the home’s architectural backstory to create a richly atmospheric environment."
